NFRC National Federation of Roofing Contractors The National Federation of Roofing Contractors is the UK’s leading trade association for the roofing industry. It operates a strict code of practice and establishes high standards for the conduct of the work undertaken and products and services supplied by member firms.
		TRUSTMARK Trustmark Trustmark is a new scheme supported by the Government, consumer groups and building industry to help you find a reputable firm to do repair, maintenance and improvement work in your home. If a firm displays the trustmark logo you know that a trade association or certification orginisation that we have approved and checked the firm and found that it meets certain standards the government has set.
FAIR TRADES Fair Trades Fair Trades has been trading since 1983 offering vetted companies to consumers and value added products and services to the trade sector. They are now the largest multitrade association in the UK, with the largest directory of quality ranked home improvement professionals.
		COMPETENT ROOFER Competent roofer CompetentRoofer is the prime Government-approved scheme for England and Wales that legally allows professional roofing contractors to self-certify for Building Regulations for refurbishment roofing work. This encompasses all roofing types for domestic, industrial and commercial properties and the scheme is open to all roofing contractors to apply. Many jobs undertaken need to be notified to and authorised by Local Authority Building Control (LABC) and in many cases this includes work done to your roof. By using a CompetentRoofer member, property owners will save not only time and money but will have the added reassurance that the work carried out meets the exacting standards of Building Regulations.
